Apparently I can't do anything right anymore...
I've been looking for work solidly for the last month (and even before I left Ontario) and I can't get an effing job.
Granted I do have a job waitressing, but that's not quite enough. And today, I took a "consultant" position selling advertising space for a magazine but it's purely commission...
Ugh...I don't know what to do now. and I'm questioning whether it was a good idea to move back to BC...but in reality, I have to realize I'd be doing shit ass work in Ontario too if I were there.
Why does my life have to suck so much? And what am I doing wrong?
Seriously, I apply for 2-3 a day and have had 7 "good" interviews in the past month...

omg....so my brother and I have an old friend staying with us...and he CANNOT be quiet for longer than a second. Whether it's asking me dumb questions, or singing to himself, or banging around in the kitchen, or talking really loudly on the phone while I'm trying to watch Chapelle, or stomping around like he weighs 300 lbs, or smacking his lips when he eats...I'm gonna kill him!!
I hate being a nag, but this is my fucking house!! AND!!! when I try to retreat to my room, I still get bothered every five seconds "Hey, can I borrow $20?"...."What time is House on tonight?" (as I was watching House), "Can I borrow your cell phone?"...motherfuck....
Right now he's doing some weird breathing while fiddling with my brother's computer...and asking me stupid questions about Facebook.

I'm gonna have to tell the fucker to get the hell out...it's also real sweet that he skipped his first day of work today.

So, looks like I'll be heading back to Vancouver for May or June. My current skool program (which is proving more and more useless every day) is done in mid-April and then I intend to save up some coin and make my way back to Vancouver. (Of course, I've been on Craigslist daily looking for PR/Communication jobs...so many!!)
What I want to know, is which of you my lovely Vancouver friends, has a couch for crashing for me when I get back? I'm good at cleaning house and cooking and such in return for couch priviledges...

Stupid Resolutions...

Yeah, off to a bad start this year.
Not only did I get super hammered and drank til 8am, I fueled my hangover with PowerAde, chips, pizza and iced tea (and ice cream if there's any left). I'll for sure get in shape real quick with that one.
In case you're wondering, I'm referring to two screwed over resolutions. The complete list being:
-get in shape
-stop drinking (small, normal person amounts are sometimes acceptable)
-work on getting out of debt
-be more creative

Oh yeah, I also made a $50 long distance call from my brother's cell phone to my friend in Ireland at 5am, so I guess I kind of screwed up the third resolution a bit as well.
As far as I'm concerned, the resolutions start tomorrow...mwa hahaha.

I hate the National Student Loan Centre. Yeah, it's my fault that I didn't automatically know to pay them in August (or apply for interest releif again), but damn, why can't those fuckers let you know that your status has changed? Send me a fucking bill or something...cocks.
So today, I get a call saying that my current loan is on hold until I either pay them $400 in interest, or reapply for interest releif...so obviously, I had to pay the money cuz I don't have another 2 months to wait for an interest relief application to go thru...and now I still have to wait til the end of this month for my loan to come thru.
Way to go you fucking wankers, screw someone over.
I'm sooooo bitter its not even funny.
Oh, and apparently, it takes 2 days to send a fax...why the fuck can't they just walk over to a damn fax machine? Motherfuckers.
Ugh...so now I"m fucked for cash til the end of the month and I can't pay bills or rent...woo woo. Rat bastards. I'm ready to kill somoene.

So things in London are dull...
I`m working at Bell doing Call Centre work, super good use to my Bachelor. My newest drama is my coworker that keeps hitting and biting and pinching me, yes, I know...I have the weirdest problems.
I am sick to death of idiots. I have become rather hermit like in my exile from Vancouver. I read a lot lately, and watch movies (nothing new there) and have developed a new appreciation for the gym.
The plan is as follows:
-take Corporate Communications & Public Relations course
-head back to Vancouver for May or June of 07
I`m actually kind of flip flopping about whether I should stay in school or just run off to Vancouver earlier. I was on Craigslist the other day, and Van has got tons of PR jobs that don`t require much experience or schooling. But then, I think I`d rather have some training and background in it first.
Ugh...
Alright, new plan:
-marry wealthy, hot well hung man
-never work again
-never have full time residence, but visit Vancouver a lot.
And, I`ve kind of sort of quit drinking. We`ll see how long this lasts, but I`m seriously uninterested in the company of most of the people I know in London...fucking wankers.

London is good...feeling great about being around my family and friends...have 2 fabulous crushes (oh so very hawt)...but don't have a dang job yet.
I somewhat regret the decision to leave Vancouver...and I really don't understand the path of my life just yet.

It Doesn't Smell Here!!

So I've somewhat decided to spend my time at my mom's house...yes, she's insane and we really don't get along but it doesn't stink here and it's not filthy. I have my own room pretty much cuz my mom mostly sleeps on the couch. And today I hooked up the internet so I'm not naked anymore...oh thank god.
Looking for a job a little more drastically now...this is stressing me out way too much right now.
Looks like I have a bed, TV, VCR, shelf, dresser, desk and a few other things to furnish an apartment...just need kitcheny stuff and a couch or something of the like.
I kind of regret the decision to leave now...I feel great like a hole in my heart has been filled, but this staying at people's places shit is really pissing me off.

I didn't break down like I thought I would...
Doing alright so far...spent last night at my brother's house after getting in from my flight to Toronto then promptly moved my stuff into my cousin's house. Which unfourtunately is full of 8 cats and 3 dogs...and an unpleasant smell and terrible mess....I think I'll be getting my own place as soon as possible.
Tonight was pretty casual...been terribly exhausted. Went out to the Runt Club for a pint and Alex P. Keaton's for a bottle...realized quickly that I knew the band at the latter and soon found myself surrounded by several friends that I hadn't seen or even really thought about for years (and in 2 cases, forgot their names).
It's difficult to love this town cuz there is a big element of the ugly...strip malls, run down houses, ugly people, crappy roads...but then when I head into the parts of town that I love (historic Woodfield downtown and Wortly Village) I remember why this town is essentially very beautiful. Walking home from the bar was beautiful...it rained tonight and a fog came in...we took these stairs down a hill above the river and crossed Black Friars Bridge (a really cool wooden bridge right behind my brother's house and close to my cousin's) and then proceeded to walk the path along the river which was all foggy and haunted looking and just gorgeous with the trees starting to turn and the crispness in the air...I tried to take pictures but it didn't work.
I think that travelling around near here will be great too...there are some awesome places to go...Port Stanley on Lake Huron, Elora Gorge near Toronto, Niagra Escarpment...Niagara Falls for that matter...etc. I'm excited for all these oppurtunities to do the things that I sort of missed when I was younger but at the same time am sad for all that I left behind...but it can be assured that my ass will be back in BC at some point so that I can go to all those great places I never made it to before.
